Story - Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya
Gowtham Vasudev Menon walked away with laurels aplenty after his over the board debut with Minnale
The ace director’s latest flick Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya (VV) too is alleged to be churned out on the same lines and speaks about an ambitious assistant director Karthik (Silambarasan) wanting to make it big as a filmmaker. But things take an unexpected turn when he falls in love with a Jessie (Trisha); he’s ready to sacrifice his biggest dreams.
Though much hasn’t been divulged about this breezy romantic entertainer, sources reveal that Trisha flies to the US and much like Surya in Vaaranam Aayiram, Simbhu, the assistant director in the film, sets aboard a voyage in pursuit of his love.
For those who’ve already had enough of watching the young rough Silambarasan muttering ‘punch’ dialogues and man-handling 50 men at the same time, here’s something that promises to be unusual of Simbu.
Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya has some impressive tracks by A.R. Rahman that have already become a sensation.
