Shyam Saran to quit as PM's special envoy

Former foreign secretary Shyam Saran Friday announced his decision to quit as Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's special envoy on climate change. "This is not something new. I had informed the prime minister's office earlier that March 14 would be my last working day," Saran told IANS.
