Mermaid Syndrome Pictures; Shiloh Pepin “Mermaid Girl” Dies
How sad is this. Shiloh Pepin, known as the “Mermaid Girl, has died at the age of ten. According to reports she got sick with a terrible cold. Soon after it turned into pneumonia and the meds and ventilator she was strapped to couldn’t save her.
Shiloh was born with her legs fused together. Shiloh Pepin had a rare condition known as the “mermaid syndrome” or sirenomelia. It is very rare for someone to survive as long as Shiloh did.

What a sweet soul she was so excitied about life and very energetic always smiling ; she was far more mature and understanding of life pass her 10 years; she ws a reay of sun light to me and I will always remember her and her strenght; I will always hold the memmories her her close to my heart because she was really a true little angel that showed us how to live and enjoy life and such a beautiful little girl at that; Mr. and Mrs. Pepin be proud that you bought a little angel into this world if only for a short while she made a lifetime of lasting impressions, bless this little angel...Rockel
