UP Board, one of the oldest Educational Body in the country, was established in the year 1921 by an act of United Provinces Legislative Council. The first examination by the Board was conducted after two years in 1923 and since then, it has been conducting various examinations. The UP Board started the 10+2 system in India for the first time.
