Kites to release across 1,800 screens worldwide

Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan latest film 'Kites' will open in over 2,300 screens worldwide on May 21.
The Indian market will account for 1,800 screens, while overseas markets will account for over 500 screens, its producer, Reliance BIG Pictures announced here today.
In the first phase, the romantic film, directed by Anurag Kashyap, will release in India, US, UK, UAE, Australia, South Africa and 30 other countries on May 21. This will be followed by releases in 30 countries, including non-traditional markets.
Kites, with a budget of Rs 60 crore, is the most expensive film ever produced by the Hindi movie industry.
It also features Mexican actress Barbara Mori in a lead role.
