Serena Williams fought against Kim Clijsters to stay in the semi finals on Saturday night.
The tennis player met her opponent in a packed house at the National Tennis Center, which had opened after three days of rain.
Serena Williams was not obviously in a great mood and the match ended with a very unlikely incident, for the first time in a major match.
She was called for foot fault twice and then as John McEnroe, CBS broadcaster, says “All hell broke loose”.
Due to these faults, Clijsters got the match point. Serena was hell angry with the lineswoman who had made the call.
Serena went on with her f-words and swearing screaming loudly, “I swear to God I’m [expletive] going to take this [expletive] ball and shove it down your [expletive] throat, you hear that? I swear to God.”
Serena later said that “I didn’t say I was going to kill you. I didn’t say that.” Serena lost the match to 6-4, 7-5.
