Perfect Bride, this is the new reality show and it will be telecasted on Star Plus, this programe has been sponsered by LUX, this serial begins from  September 12th 2009 Monday to Friday at 10.30 pm and Saturday & Sunday at 10 pm. This concept is based on the dream of a boy who wants to mary a ideal girl, while  every mothers dream to have the perfect bahu.

Keeping a close watch on the participants; relationship experts and mentors Amrita Rao, Shekhar Suman and Mallaika Arora Khan will guide the participants in making key decisions in shortlisting their ideal match, while gorgeous Megha Gupta and handsome Vishal Malhotra anchor the show.

Show Format

10 prospective brides and 5 grooms are chosen from all over India

Monday-Friday are the reality episodes, Saturday being the elimination

Every week the girls will be given a task to assess her family and traditional values, on the basis of which, they will be judged by the boy’s mother

The mothers will judge how compatible the girl will be with her son, to be his perfect bride!

Every week, 1 girl is eliminated,

Mother’s can’t eliminate the bride of the week chosen by audience voting

Audiences have the power to choose mother in law and bride of the week

The mother can’t eliminate the bride of the week chosen by audience voting.

Boys task revolves around antics that check the physical and emotional strengths of the guy

Boys will be eliminated twice in the entire series

In the boy’s elimination week, powers are reversed

The show will end with a grand wedding with the consent of both the parties with a grand prize worth Rs 25 lakhs to the winning couple
