This film stars Akshay Kumar and renowned Tamil actress Trisha in its lead role. The film stars renowned comedians like Johnny Lever, Makrand Deshpande, and Rajpal Yadav.

It also casts Milind Gunaji and Aruna Irani. A remake of Priyadarshan’s Malayalam film “Vellanakalude Naadu” released in 1988, “Khatta Meetha” is a film full of humor and deals with the issue of bribery and corruption that takes place in government offices.

It shows how Sachin runs from office to office to get his job done. The story of “Khatta Meetha” revolves around Sachin Tichkule (Akshay Kumar) who is a struggling road construction contractor whose dreams never come true as he is devoid of money which will help him to bribe the babus.

Things turn worse when he discovers that the new municipal commissioner is none other than Ganpule Madam (Trisha) who unluckily happens to be his ex-girl friend who presently hates him.

“Nana chi taang” sang by Kunal Ganjawala the song has sway of Marathi lingo. It is basically love song (Remix of this song is also composed)
Next is “Bullshit” which is sung by Shehzad Roy, the song is a parody on the politicians.
Lastly, we have “Aila re aila” – an attractive, energetic song, sung by Daler Mehndi and Kalpana Patowary. The song will be appreciated by youngster, it got maximum beat

Music has allover average scope; Pritam tried the same cosmetic treatment in songs.
