Tata DoCoMo 3G Mobile Services – coming soon this Diwali

Tata DoCoMo plans to launch the most awaited third-generation mobile (3G) mobile services by this Diwali. Tata DoCoMo will be the first private operator to launch the 3G services in country. Company may introduce high-speed internet, video calls and other high-end 3G services. Tata has already started bundling its 3G enabled SIM with smartphones like HTC Desire.
Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh (West), Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are the circles where Tatas will rollout 3G services. Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communications, Vodafone Essar are also lined up and may announce their 3G services rollout by the year-end.
Presently 3G mobile services is being provided by telecom PSU MTNL and BSNL. Now it’s interesting to see the tariff strategy telecom operators will adopt to compete for big pie in market share.
