Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport car arrives in India

Bugatti Automobiles announced to introduce its latest sports car “Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport” worth Rs. 16 crore in India. The company claims it to be the most expensive car being launched in Indian market.
Bugatti Automobiles Sales Market Manager (Middle East, Europe and India) Guy Caquelin said, “Bugatti has been doing well in America, Europe and the Middle East. Now we see India as an emerging market for us, hence we have decided to bring the car to India.”
The premium sports car incorporating 8 litre engine with 16 cylinders is made at the company’s hand headquarters Molsheim in France using components such as titanium, carbon fibre and magnesium.
Exclusive Motors Managing Director Satya Bagla said, “The Bugatti Veyron is four times more expensive than what’s being sold in the India. So we are currently testing the customer response.”
He also declared that delivery of the car would take around 6-8 months from the date of order.
Besides being the costliest car in the country, the company claims that the Bugatti Veyron is also the fastest car in the world with a top speed of 407 km/hour with an acceleration of 0-100km/hour in 2.7 seconds.
Till date, the most expensive cars in Indian market include the Rolls Royce Phantom and the Maybach that cost around Rs. 5 crore.
