Verizon Launching iPhone 4 on February 10
After years of hopes and rumors, Apple and Verizon Wireless have finally teamed up to bring the iPhone to Verizon customers.
Features of the iPhone 4 include a 3.5-inch (960x640 pixel) multi-touch Retina display with fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating, a 5.0 megapixel camera with 720p video recording and LED flash, a secondary VGA frontal camera, the A4 1 GHz processor and a 3-axis gyro that when combined with the accelerometer, provides 6-axis motion sensing.
The device delivers 7 hours of talk time on 3G, 10 hours of web browsing on Wi-Fi, up to 6 hours of web on 3G, 10 hours of video playback and up to 40 hours of audio playback.
The iPhone 4 will be available on the Verizon Wireless network beginning Thursday, February 10 for the price of $199.99 for the 16GB model and $299.99 for the 32GB model with a new 2-year contract.
