Abhimanyu Mithun in Indian test squad

Abhimanyu Mithun introduced in Indian Cricket test squad where he will play his debut match against South Africa.

Other than Mithun, a Tamilnadu batsman S Badrinath was also included in Indian side along with Wriddhiman Saha. S Badrinath, ABhimanyu Mithun and Wriddhiman Saha all of three new players included for making their first debut match against South Africa.

Four senior players Yuvraj Singh, Rahul Dravid, Dinesh Karthik and Sreesanth were dropped due to some sort of injury as they were unfit to play the test beginning from Feb 6.

Abhimanyu Mithun born in 1989 is from Bangalore has been selected as a replacement for Sreesanth. Earlier he has played from Karnataka, Karnataka XI and Royal Challengers Bangalore. He is a right hand bat and right arm medium pace bowler. While Wriddhiman Prasanta Saha born in Shaktigarh has already played for India, Bengal, India A, Kolkata Knight Riders. He is aright hand batsman and joined the team as a replacement for Dinesh karthik.

The Indian test team announced today consists of following players –

MS Dhoni (captain/wk), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, S Badrinath, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Amit Mishra, Pragyan Ojha, Ishant Sharma, M Vijay, Sudeep Tyagi, Abhimanyu Mithun and Wriddhiman Saha.

First Test match against south Africa will begin from Feb 6 at Nagpur stadium followed by second test match from Feb 14 at kolkata stadium.
